Following UBM’s acquisition of the Allworld portfolio of exhibitions, the next edition of Marintec Indonesia, which has been successfully held twice in Jakarta and is now the nation’s leading event for the shipbuilding and maritime industries, will be held alongside Indonesia’s comprehensive exhibition for petroleum exploration, production and refining services and products, Oil & Gas Indonesia, on 13-16 September 2017.
The offshore oil and gas industry represents a major segment of the maritime market in Indonesia, so by holding the exhibitions side by side there will be significant synergies for both suppliers and buyers of products and services. Also being held at the same time is the Mining Indonesia exhibition. Again, transportation of mineral resources is one of the key markets for Indonesia’s ship operators, so the co-location of these events will stimulate new interactions and business projects.
Speaking about the co-location, Christopher Eve, President Director of PT. UBM Pameran Niaga Indonesia, the organizer of Marintec Indonesia, said “The co-location of these three exhibitions, each of which serves a vital sector of Indonesia’s economy, is a very exciting development that is certain to yield new business opportunities for all participants. Marintec Indonesia has rapidly established itself as Indonesia’s leading event for the maritime industry and enjoys the full support of Indonesia’s shipbuilders and shipowners. They will now have an enhanced platform to meet directly with their customers and partners in the offshore and mining industries.”
The 3rd edition of Marintec Indonesia will be held 13-16 September 2017 at Jakarta International Expo, co-located with Oil and Gas Indonesia (11th edition) and Mining Indonesia (18th edition).
